I had a similar experience with Airbnb - they tend to promote a lot within their stuff while conducting mock/fake interviews with external applicants wasting their time. Now ..they beg for help on Linkedin and play the victim card (I was laid off due to redundancy in 2012 and nobody helped me then) which I find unfair against the regular people who work very hard to get their foot at the doorway of good companies from Dublin. Where all those recruiters were when me and other people I know applied to Airbnb dozens of times and most of us heard nothing (I was quite lucky to get the interview once out of 12 applications within last 3 years).
