      Content Editor Interview

      22 Sept 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters

      Interview

The whole process took a very long time, and involved several stages. First I did a 10 minute grammar test, which I assumed I didn't pass as it took me over a week to find out I'd made it to interview. It then wasn't until over a month later that I even found out the date and time of my interview (and I was given less than a week to prepare). The interviewers were very friendly and part of the interview involved another 10 minute grammar test. I was told at the end of the interview that I would get a response by the end of the week, or early the following week at the very latest. As I applied for the job through a recruitment company, I never had any direct response with Thomson Reuters, so I was constantly having to ring the recruiter to find out whether I'd been successful in making it through to the next round (which was a second phone interview). It was only through constantly chasing that I finally found out over a week later that I hadn't been successful, and the feedback I received on the phone was very brief and not very helpful. It's now been just over a week, and they've started advertising the exact same role again. It's very disheartening to see when I really wanted the job, even after such a lengthy interview process, and it would have been helpful to receive proper feedback from TR to help me in my future job search.

      Application

I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Bangalore Rural)

      Interview

Great. Relevant questions were asked. Interviewers were knowledgeable and had relevant background about the candidate and experience. Not intimidating at all and had smiles throughout the interview process. Overall good experience.

      17 Aug 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Scarborough, ON
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Scarborough, ON) in Mar 2017

      Interview

A phone call to see if you are a good fit. Then a scheduled interview at their location. It's a tag team. They follow a script of questions; each taking turns to ask a question. If already employed and wishing to change within the department, your current supervisor is one of the tag team interviewers. Very awkward.
