Chaotic interview process - was told I would progress to the next stage and then got ghosted. The job ad was readvertised months afterwards so it seems like just bad management.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Three Ships (London, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
Call with a recruiter in the US 45 mins, followed by a face to face interview with the UK MD- 60 mins. The interviews themselves were ok, too inquisitive without sharing too much about the company. At a senior role, I would have expected more emphasis on trajectory and goals. The culture described seemed very high pressure high performance with little focus on people, besides performance. After nearly 2h spent interviewing, I never hear back with feedback or otherwise.

Question 1
Fairly formal process, besides the usual questions they went in depth asking about my experience. The MD conducted an almost hour long interview focusing predominantly on how my current company operates and what strategies we’ve implemented there, vs how I may apply my experience to the business. Although I thought there was a good balance of questions, for a People role, 75% of what he was looking for it seemed was talent acquisitions.
Interview process was thorough and fast. I applied on a Monday and had an offer Friday where we blasted through three rounds of interviews and an onsite case study. The case study was straightforward and mostly conversation, this lead to a great experience both ways in which they could see how I worked and though, and I could experience their thought process.

Question 1
They handed me a list of action items and asked me to rank them in order of priority, action, and how I would approach completing them.
