Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to join TikTok at this moment, given the current geopolitical environment, and how do you navigate ambiguity in such a context?
3+ months of my life down the drain in the most bizarre, misleading, brazen abuse of good-faith interviewing that I have ever experienced as a professional. Interviewers constantly stalling, scheduling for "just one more interview," and then they will ghost you for half a month and appear out of nowhere as if nothing is wrong. Out of meeting 5+ people across separate and sometimes repeat interviews, almost every single person was a pleasure to speak with. Unfortunately, the organization/hiring manager had absolutely no clue what they wanted and took it out on the candidates. Very bizarre policy direction in general. I also wonder if they were using interview assignments to get free labor. Shady practices that take away from the generally nice, competent people that they do hire. If you're going through the process, absolutely continue to do so... just don't trust them or give them benefit of the doubt until there is a signature on a document. Even then I would wonder.

Question 1
Very run-of-the mill public policy interview questions, probing your network/connections, broad policy stances, and situational questions about the topics du jour.
