The initial interview was done through the phone. Headhunter first reached me via email as they saw a potential fit in me, however after phone discussion I understood that the offered salary was not matching my expectations - £24k/pa, in London. I understand that position is quite junior, however, considering the fact that you'll be exposed to violent and nasty content that you have to review everyday while hitting KPIs, plus on top of that, you need to work on weekends and in the afternoon, made me realise it won't pay off at all. The interview was very unnatural, conversation felt stillted. Personally I felt if I'd be sometimes talking to a bot. Headhunter was leading the talk all the time (which is absolutely ok) - however there was no space to discuss any stuff outside of work, as in, I missed some personal chat about the people who are working in the company or on similar positions and what they're interested in, and there was nothing that would convince me that it would be a good culture fit for me. I believe doing your job is one thing, but to really fit the company, and being surrounded by like-minded people with same values and attitude is another thing which should make you feel happy. As the salary expectations were not fulfilled, I believe it wasn't a match for me.
