I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tim Hortons (Newark, NJ) in May 2025
Interview
Not great not many questions just basically asked what I did in free time and previous history would not worry about application or interview not worth the stress. Not a company worth working for
Easy – no behaviorals, just need to understand the industry and how they operate on a daily basis. Anybody can pass this interview if they have a basic grasp of the industry processes and terminology. This type of interview doesn’t focus on personality or situational problem-solving but rather on how well you know the daily operations. As long as you can discuss core concepts like trade lifecycle, settlement processes, cash management, and risk controls, you're set up for success. Understanding how various departments interact, such as how trade support collaborates with operations and compliance, is also beneficial. Essentially, if you can demonstrate familiarity with these daily workflows, it’s a straightforward process.
