Tree of Life Counseling Center interview questions

I interviewed at the Freehold location in Fall 2023. The owner and her immediate family run the business. That was kind of a red flag for me. I interviewed with the owner and a supervisor, and that seemed to go well. Then I was told the next round of interviews would have to be with her mother and brother before I could move forward. This was unusual. Her mother was the office manager I believe and her brother did the finance part of the business (not clinicians). I see their ads up for therapists all the time, so I guess they do not keep staff happy, or just do not keep staff. This is unfortunate. The office was really nice, the owner was lovely, and I was very interested in working there. Not sure why I did not make the cut. However, I do remember that they had an issue that I had a side job at a private practice in another state. No competition there so I do not know why that mattered. Our afterhours time is our business. So many therapists work multiple jobs/streams of income so that should be expected. I guess that could have been the issue.
