Applied online after a career fair, got back to me fairly fast to set up an interview. Took less than 1 week to get rejected. Interview was pretty straight forward. Initially screening in person with associates, then case and then interviews with the partners and managers. Some time for Q&A and that was about it. Case study isn’t like a normal case study like how MBB will run one. Basic numbers and stuff and make a recommendation. Kind of wish they just did a screening call initially on the phone so I did not have to drive down. But overall was very pleasant and the people were nice.

I met two analysts from Trenegy at my University's career fair in September 2015. After talking with them about my qualifications for the position I was invited to a casual meet-and-greet at a local restaurant later that evening. While there I scheduled a Skype interview for the following week, which consisted of a case study followed by some behavioral questions with 6 Trenegy team members, including one of the Managing Directors. That same afternoon I received an email inviting me to fly out to Houston 2 weeks later to meet more of the team (my school was not located in Texas). In the office I interviewed with each of the Managing Directors individually, and about 6 other employees before my flight later in the afternoon. I received a call that same day informing me that I was offered the position.
