I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Twilio (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
1. Referred by someone
2. After two weeks, recruiter reached out with a hacker rank test
3. After two weeks, onsite invitation
4. After onsite, being notified that I did the interview well but need to wait for team matching
At first, there was a team interested in taking me, but ended up saying that they do not have openings.
Since then, it has been more than a month, I am still waiting for team matching .....
I guess their head count for new graduate is filled up really fast or very few...
This interviewing process was really long and torturing... What's worse is that they never gave an explicit timeline about anything. They usually just informed you with a short period like "We will get back to you within this week / five days/ next week...", but man, it's been WAY more than two weeks... I mean, I don't mind waiting but please give a better estimation of the timeline to the candidates.. Don't give a short period that builds up candidates' expectations and then ghosts candidates...
For other people who are interviewing this company in the future, be prepared that you may be ghosted.. Do not put too much hope in it, or else you may feel REALLY frustrated...
Thank you for taking the time to interview with us and to provide feedback. We are very sorry that your process took so long and that you felt ignored. We take your feedback seriously and will work to improve our processes so that decisions can be driven more quickly and expectations can be set more clearly and consistently met.

Interview
Applied online and got hacker rank back in September 2021. Been getting Ahoys! ever since(over 8 months now, 10+ Ahoy!s). Don't waste your time with Twilio, they're not serious about hiring and just send you pointless hackerrank tests to waste your time.
