      Public Relations Interview

      14 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Twilio in Apr 2024

      Interview

Met with recruiter for the initial screening, had a pleasant experience. Then with the hiring manager who offered a good overview of the role and the team in place. Had a really natural conversation and thought we got along well. I was informed later that night via an automated email that I wouldn't be moving forward with no additional context and the message even said don't reach out to ask why (in so many words). After a really engaging, transparent and responsive experience before that with the recruiter and hiring manager it was a little strange to be so automated in a rejection. I understand companies need to move fast but it's something I'll remember about the company's character.
