I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UBS (Garden City, NY) in May 2016
Interview
I was referred by someone within the company so essentially the interview was a little less formal than expected. Met with two partners at the same time and we went over my resume and spoke about my experience in detail. They were both professional and friendly.
UBS's recruiting is very fast paced and well structured, The interview process asks relatively fit based questions compared to other investment banks. All the A&As are nice and welcoming. No hirevue for off-cycle internships.
They went through my CV and asked questions about technologies used. The interview was an hour long. Also asked about my stengths and weaknesses as well as personal qualities. Overall they were very friendly and welcoming.
