I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY) in Dec 2009
Interview
They initially contacted me via phone to set up the interview time and date. When I arrived I met directly with the person that was interviewing who was the VP for Wealth Management. The main part of the interview was a skills test. It consisted of rearranging a list of names into alphabetical order, mathematical operations for different problems, mainly arithmetic and then preparing a letter to a company soliciting funds/donations for a cause you are interested in. The interviewer was very nice and after the skills test that was when he spoke to you one-on-one.
One assessment test about logic and behavior, then a pre recorded interview where you would see a question, then have one minute to think how to answer, then 2 minutes to discuss your answer
Die Interviewer waren sehr menschlich und haben sich um meine Persönlichkeit gekümmert. Es ging vor allem um die Umgangsformen und zwischenmenschliche Art der Person. Jedoch auch technische Skills wurden befragt.

Question 1
Was war das schwierigste, was Du jemals gemacht hast?
Standard Hirevue interview, from what I recall you get two minutes to prepare and two minutes to speak. After each question your response is automatically recorded and you cannot retry.
