I applied through college/university. There was an MCQ test based on OOPs concepts and more technical questions. After that there was a face to face interview round conducted on the same day. Questions based on resume, personal projects and some questions regarding Javascript and ReactJS. I cleared the interview round and was the only one selected. After that i got a mail to complete a project based assignment on MERN stack and google maps api which had to be completed in a week. There were around 9 webpages and I had to build at least 4 in a week to get selected. I completed the whole project in 5 days and succesfully submitted it. I got the reply that they liked the work and would soon give me call for the joining date. A whole month passed and they didnt contact me or reply to my mails when I asked for updates. Then I get their mail saying that they had put me on hold. Another month later they contacted me saying that they are ready to hire and asked for my availability and I said yes. Now it has been another month and again, no updates. They have ghosted me as they wont reply to my mails and won't even pick up my calls. Totally unprofessional and a complete waste of time (it has been a total of 3+ months). I wonder if they do the same with their employees.
