I had a great experience interviewing with Uber for a Senior Program Manager role. The process was fast-paced but thoughtfully structured. From application to offer, everything moved quickly, with clear communication and respectful interactions at every step. In total, I went through 5 interviews: initial screen with the recruiter, deep-dive with the hiring manager, 2x behavioural interviews & a case study presentation. I also was allowed an intake meeting before diving into the case study. Process took about 4 weeks from application to offer.
I heard back within hours after each stage, which made me feel respected and valued as a candidate.
The interviews were challenging but fair. The team focused on real-world scenarios and impact, so it’s best to have your STAR stories prepared.
Each interviewer came prepared and engaged. I never felt like I was being interrogated & it felt like a two-way conversation where they genuinely wanted to understand how I think and work.
Overall, it was one of the most professional and human hiring processes I’ve experienced.
