I was contacted by phone and e-mail to schedule an onsite interview. When I called back, they suggested a date and time, and I agreed.
The facility has two buildings: 700 and 800. I was scheduled to interview in the 700 building, but the guest parking lot was closed when I arrived. I then spotted "interviews" signs pointing to the 800 building. At this point, I knew I wasn't going to be the only one interviewing that day.
I parked at the 800 building, and tried opening the door (clearly marked "interviews," but it was locked. An employee came out of another door, and asked me what position I was interviewing for, and I said "customer service." She directed me back to the 700 building. Since that parking lot was closed, I walked over.
I waited with five others, and we were all brought into a conference room to complete two skills assessments. One was to identify patterns in sequences of numbers, and the other was to compare two columns of text to identify discrepancies.
After that, we were each called into individual interviews. The questions weren't very deep. I asked about the next steps, and was told those selected would be called in for typing/spelling assessments, and then a side by side evaluation on a later date. The salary quoted to me was also lower than what was advertised (quoted $22 to $27 and hour).
On the way back to my car, I was stopped by a security vehicle because I was walking on the grass.
