      Saleroom Assistant Interview

      26 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Munich, Bavaria
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Under Armour (Munich, Bavaria) in Oct 2024

      Interview

The interview process included a short introduction and a product knowledge discussion. After that, I received training on the brand, product categories, and functional fabrics. I then completed a three hour trial shift in the store. During this time, I supported customers, organized products, and applied what I learned about the materials and features. The trial shift helped the team evaluate my communication skills, product understanding, and ability to work in a retail environment.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most important question I was asked was about Under Armour and functional fabrics. The question was: What makes Under Armour different, and how do you identify different functional fabrics? I explained that Under Armour focuses on performance wear. The brand designs products for sweat control, temperature regulation, and muscle support. I described key lines such as HeatGear for hot weather, ColdGear for cold conditions, and compression fabrics for muscle support. I also explained how to check fabric composition, stretch, weight, and moisture wicking features to distinguish materials.
