I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Uniqus Consultech in Apr 2026
Interview
First round was good, 2nd round was a bit difficult, he twisted the questions, connected the dots which no where near, put me in a very bad confusion with confusing questions
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Uniqus Consultech in Oct 2025
Interview
Round 1 – Coding Round: Rag Spring Challenge Coding
Round 2 – Discussion Round with Rohan Gupta: He asked me about the issues I encountered while coding and told me to update the code with a table extraction approach from documents. I spent half my day researching and provided them with the best possible solution.
Round 3 – with Shubhangi Misra (SDE1 - AI Engineer)
The title of the round changed, and I was expecting questions related to my previous tasks — RAG, LLM-based projects, my problem-solving approach, and how I implemented solutions. But suddenly, she gave me a sample coding task in Python. 🤷🏻♀️
She mentioned they wanted someone who could write code manually without AI assistance and handle API integrations.
I was expecting questions related to RAG, LLMs, or integration-based topics. Instead, she asked about a basic Python program. What was the point of all the effort I put into researching and experimenting with the RAG task then?
What’s the point of integrating AI with the frontend and backend if they just test on simple Python scripts? They should ask standard questions like how to integrate APIs with LangChain and similar topics. Honestly, it felt like a complete waste of an hour.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uniqus Consultech in Aug 2024
Interview
HR Interview; she didn't turn on her camera, asked me questions I had already told the recruiter (eg. salary), asked me questions for info. that was already on my CV (eg. current company).
Couldn't answer basic questions about the practice or the company.
Couldn't respond to or alleviate any concerns about pipeline or possible future bench time, or sales support needed in a new consultancy.
Gave misleading answers on multiple occassions and only changed her response when pressed. Eg; this is a new company, is there share options/ ESOP available. She said yes. How do I get them, what % of salary, what cap per level, is there vesting periods? Doesn't matter, it's only for senior leadership.
Same response when asked about the career stages in a new company, it changed from 1 year initially to "usually" 3 years when asked to clarify. "usually" 3 years in a company that has only existed 2 years by the way.
