I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview took place at their training facility in Newark Airport. There where about 20 of us and we all met outside of one of the gates in the airport and greeted by two flight attendants. We were taken by a shuttle to a secure location where we were lead to a room where we were greeted by a few more flight attendants where we watched a brief video and then concluded with a brief question and answer session. Then we were called one by one to do a one on one interview with an active flight attendant. This portion lasted about 20 mins, depending on your answers. I was then asked to speak further with a few more recruiters. After reading the other interviews on Glassdoor, this was usually a positive thing. They asked more questions and also asked about tattoos. Which I have two of that would need to be covered at all times since they are on my arms. I'm thinking that because it would limit the ability to wear certain uniforms didn't bode well for me. As I did not get an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked several standard interview questions. Such as did you ever have a bad interaction with a co-worker and how did you solve it.
They asked if you were on a flight and your co-worker didn't want to do beverage service, how would you handle it.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
