I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Aug 2015
Interview
I had a great experience going through the process with United. Initially, I filled out the online application for english speaking Flight Attendants. The process is very straight forward and easy to follow. I was invited to do the Hirevue video interview and was subsequently invited to an in person interview a few days later. Arrive as early as possible and look professional. They are definitely looking for people who represent the brand well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you were on a very short flight and another flight attendant refused to do beverage service, how would you handle this situation.
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
