I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied on the UA website and submitted my resume. A couple of days later I was invited to do the HireVue interview. I highly recommend going over the questions that are on here. It is accurate. Also, before doing the video interview be sure to practice and look your best! I was invited to do F2F two days later. My interview was today October 9,2015 at SFO. I arrived around 7:45am with a couple of other candidates. They were all very friendly and we shared our experiences. Which was nice it sort of kept the edge off the nervousness I was feeling. Around 8:00 am we were lead to a room where we waited for other candidates to arrive. All of the recruiters were there so when they lead you into that room be sure to start socializing with the other candidates. They want to see how personable you are. Do not take out your cell phones. Just smile and interact with the others. Around 8:30am the recruiters had a presentation on what to expect of the position and in the end you get to ask questions. After that, they call you in one by one. Study the questions on here and thoroughly study them. Be sure to give examples of behavioral situations at work. I really thought I answered my questions well. I was prepared! I know United like the back of my hand. Not sure what happened. I almost feel like you have to have a good rapport with your interviewer which is all luck! I was myself and friendly and very enthusiastic! I was living and breathing United Airlines and studying questions etc...But still I didn't receive an offer. In the end, I was shown to the shuttle bus and I knew it was over based on the other stories on here. From what I understand you go through a second interview and get job offered. I was just told that I'd here from them via email in 6-7 days. We'll see! If there is a positive response, I will keep you all updated. Study the questions! Be personable, smile and be animated! Also study the company! Good Luck!

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
