I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
The United Airlines interview process all happens rather quickly. Only a few days after submitting my online video interview, I was asked to set up an appointment for a F2F. After going over basic information about the application and training process, we were individually invited into another room for a one on one interview with a recruiter. Based upon how well you do on that interview, you either get escorted out or asked to meet with the senior flight attendants.

Question 1
Situational question: You are taxiing to land on the runway and a customer tells you that they are going to miss their connecting flight to a very important event (wedding, funeral, etc.) if the plane does not land right away. What would you do?

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
