Upland Capital Group interview questions

Upland Capital Group’s unprofessionalism is astounding. After completing a first-round interview with HR, I followed up and was assured I was still in the running. A week later, I followed up again and was met with complete silence. No rejection, no update, just ghosted. If this is how they communicate with candidates, I can only imagine how they operate internally. Ghosting reflects a lack of respect and accountability. Job seekers deserve better. This kind of behavior is a major red flag.

A very junior HR employee remote interviewed me for the top HR leadership role at the company and asked very basic questions geared towards a green HR professional with little experience and she seemed very uninterested as she barely made eye contact. Moreover these questions seemed like she was looking for answers to challenges the organization is facing. I felt like they could use a consulting engagement. The money they are looking to pay such a senior role is very low. It truly was a waste of my time.
