In early January I had a phone screening with an internal recruiter. The call was conversational, discussing the role and how my background applied, and the questions were very straight-forward.
In mid-March when I had a phone screening with the hiring manager. (The long delay was due to some personal issues, as well as work-related issues, that the hiring manager had to address). Again, the discussion was conversational, with straight-forward questions.
In mid-April, I was informed that the position was cancelled. Although the process was lengthy, the internal recruiter kept me updated throughout the process. There were a few times where she told me that I would hear an update on a particular date, and she always updated my as planned. I appreciate the communication!
