I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Versana (New York, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
Phone interview was virtual and was a medium leetcode problem. I was given half an hour to solve. That went well, so I was advanced to onsite. At the in-person onsite, I was not really asked much of technical questions aside from a small system design problem in one and a coding question in another where I was asked to write the solution in pseudocode and was only given 10 minutes for each. The head of engineering who was sick but wore a mask to work did not seem really excited and appeared to be bored. Wasn't really challenged and seemed more just like a casual conversation for each interview. Felt like I did strongly in the system design, but the coding was not great and we ran out of time, since I was only given 10 minutes. Few days later received a generic rejection email without any feedback.

Interview
Very pleasant experience applying to Versana. Communication was good as well as each and every interview, people seem lovely. It was about 4/5 rounds with an in-office interview process of 4 interviews there too.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Versana (New York, NY)
Interview
Basic recruiter screen. Then I spoke to hiring manager by phone. Was brought in for an on-site interview where I met some peers the position would interact with. Was supposed to meet the CTO, but he never showed up (sketchy). I was told that a virtual meeting would be scheduled to continue the interview process but they never followed up. A week later, I got a pre-canned rejection email from the recruiter. Requested feedback & they refused to provide any. Very unprofessional & I definitely do not recommend this company.
