I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Vestas Wind Systems (Greeley, CO) in Aug 2011
Interview
The interview process took a long time to get started, but once started it moved very quickly. Submitted resume, waited 6+ weeks before being contacted, then in the matter of 2 weeks had a telephone interview, 2 face to face interviews and then a few days later I received a job offer which I accepted.

I applied online. I interviewed at Vestas Wind Systems (Brighton, CO)
Interview
Had a phone interview that went very well. I was told I would be contacted in 2 weeks with a response. After 2 weeks I had not heard back so I called the interviewer. He did not answer my phone call so I left a message. I did this every 2 weeks weeks for the next 5 months and I was never contacted again.

Question 1
Why should we hire a new graduate versus an experienced hire?
I applied online. I interviewed at Vestas Wind Systems in Aug 2016
Interview
My experience with recruitment at Vestas was probably the most unprofessional of any company I've encountered. First, the recruiter cancelled an hour before the phone interview. Then, when the phone interview finally did happen, all I heard was the sound of him masticating his lunch. At the end of the call, he said I'd hear back from the hiring manager to set up a face-to-face interview within two weeks. Two months later - after several follow-ups - it never happened.
