3. Phone Interview Technical (Share screen with technical lead and discuss the approach to your problem(Hackerrank Challenge) and some algorithmic questions )

HackerRank challenge: it is a design problem, it is openly available on their github link. Find the distance problem. Go through their github and solve the question prior to solving your hackerrank challenge.

I received an online hackerrank challenge after applying to it after a week. The hackerrank challenge is definitely on the long side, didn't have time to finish each single question.

Interview
It was actually an easy interview process, but i thought they would be asking complicated algorithm questions. Applied online, got a hackerrank. Solved it. Then, had a tech phone screen with 2 developers. Was asked to find missing number in sorted array (binary search was expected, didn't strike me at the moment). Then had a demo system development round similar to their API and was asked to improve it. They expect some radical improvisations, what i suggested were lukewarm. Cheers.
