For Internal Candidates:
Expect 2 rounds of interviews.
1st round: Panel interview with Senior Managers or Directors, usually both. Expect 30 to 35 minutes in length. Interview will be blocked for 45 minutes.
Structure as follows
Intro: 3 to 5 minutes
3 to 5 behavioral questions: approx. 15 minutes. I would advise allowing time for managers / directors to take notes or
2nd round:
Senior managers or directors on your direct team. Occasionally, vice presidents will be in the interviewing as well.
Intro: 3 to 5 minutes
Questions- Business focused: 10 to 15 minutes
Open floor for questions: remainder
(Most) More questions directed towards how you would approach their business.
In one case, interviewer presented work scenario to solve. Emphasis was less on being correct but on logic, follow ups you would pursue after this scenario. How you may pursue it a different way. Again logic was the main think the interviewer was exploring.
