I applied in-person. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Jun 2025
Interview
The process was just a casual conversation about your availability and questions I had relating to the job. Afterwards, they gave me a date on when to show up for orientation.
I answered interview questions with an HR representative over the phone. I was asked why I wanted to work at Walmart. Then I met with the team lead for an additional interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Aug 2025
Interview
I was emailed a link to schedule a phone interview which ended up not really being an interview at all - instead, the head of HR called me a week prior to my in person interview to go over the required hours of the job and to schedule an interview in the store. The interview itself consists of you going to the Personnel Department to talk to the Head of HR followed by a Team Lead in the OPD Department who will take you on a very brief tour of the OPD department. Casual conversation, they are just gauging whether you will be a good fit and if you’re okay with lifting heavy items. I think I was only in the store a total of 10-15 minutes and I was offered a job on the spot. As long as you are kind, agree to the required hours, have great availability, and seem eager to work, you should get the job.
