I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Avondale, AZ) in Aug 2013
Interview
I was called for an interview a few days after my application was submitted. I went in that same day and interviewed with a Zone Manager. She asked if I had more time for a second interview. I was automatically interviewed a second time by an assistant manager. Immediately following that, I was asked to fill out a background check form, and was given information for a drug test, which needed to be completed in 24 hours.
I was called the next day and asked to edit my application so that they could put me in the Electronics Department (I had applied to stock overnight), and was told they had the results to my drug screen, and were just waiting on the background check. I heard back a few days later, and had orientation the next day.
Very easy interview process. When Wal Mart needs people, they're not picky.
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
Solid and very well informative process. It was straightforward and well put together. I really enjoyed the people that I interacted with and ultimately chose another route due to time constraints.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
