I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart in Feb 2011
Interview
I came in on my day off for them and when i punched in they asked me to come to the office ,they want to interview me for a department manager position . i had no time to prepare and the questions had absolutly no relevance to the position. iv'e been a manager for a many of years other places and walmart is missing out on a lot of talent based on incompetent compentecy test.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Walmart (Laval, QC)
Interview

just sound confident
Group interview and speed questions where it is similar to speed dating. You are given scenarios and you have to communicate how you would solve the issue. Overall it was a relatively easy interview if you have customer service experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Applied online, 3 rounds, first round is with the HR, followed by meeting with the hiring manager and then last one with the sales team member. The process is fairly quick with moving to the next round.
