When colleges send their people to the Wayfair recruiting team, they're not sending their best, believe me! No, really, this was the worst interviewing experience I've ever encountered. Here's an overview of the Wayfair "process": 1. Phone screen with recruiter 2. Phone screen with data scientists 3. Half-day on-site interview where you reread your resume to a dozen people, two people at a time 4. Never hear from anyone at Wayfair ever again My recruiter was rude and incompetent. Her failings are too numerous to list here, but the most astonishing part was getting ghosted after the onsite interview. That's definitely a first for me, but after reading other reviews on this site, it's apparently standard procedure over at Wayfair. Unbelievable. I wouldn't interview at Wayfair if it were the last company on earth.
