When I first walked in, I was kindly greeted and told to have a seat since there were already others in front of me being interviewed. No longer than 10 min later, it was my turn to go for an interview. At first, I was asked basic questions like, "How old are you?" and "Why would you like to work here?"; however, the manager interviewing me noticed that I had already filled out every application and had filled out most of my work permit alreay. They were surprised by how prepared I was. Plus, I said I would be available all week and told them that I was a hard worker that wanted to get the job done. Before they were able to ask any more questions, I showed the interviewer that I had already gotten my Food Handlers Card, and that caught them off guard. At that moment, they said,"You know, you are the only person to walk into here today this well prepared. I'm just going to hire you". I was so surprised and happy at the same time. I thanked them a bunch and was told to come back later to sign papers and settle on a date for orientation.
TL;DR For anyone looking to get a job here, the managers LOVE a person who is well prepared with all the papers filled out. And, if you can, try to get your Food Handlers Card before hand, it makes you look better.
