The interview process was initiated by local HR in December 2024.
While I appreciated the opportunity to interview, there were few areas that I believe could be improved to enhance the candidate experience.
Communication: There were instances where scheduled interview calls were missed by HR without prior notification, and there was a lack of follow-up communication regarding the next steps.
Punctuality: Some interviews started with a delay of 15 minutes (out of 30 scheduled for a call). I understand that delays can happen, but it would be helpful to notify candidates in advance.
Complexity of the Process: The interview process seemed quite complex, involving multiple steps: an initial HR interview, a homework assignment, a knowledge test, an interview with the manager, and finally, an interview with stakeholders.
Homework and Testing: The homework assignment was more time-consuming than indicated, taking me about 4 hours to complete. While I understand the need to assess candidates thoroughly, applying test knowledge, the combination of homework and testing, followed by a 4-month probation period, seems excessive.
