There was no initial screen or conversation with the recruiters. I was asked for some availability times in a week range and the interview was scheduled for the one day that I indicated as not being available.
The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes. The hiring manager joined late, via phone (for a video call), and indicated she has a hard stop at 30 minutes. We ended up having a rushed 20 minute conversation.
The actual fitness for the role aside, this sort of process and candidate experience from the leading HCM in the market really makes one wonder.
I am grateful for the prompt rejection though, that was a refreshing change.
