Interview
The interviews were human and fun. Every stage of the interview process was digestible and exciting. The recruiter works with you, providing feedback and encouragement throughout every step. This was someone who I felt genuinely wanted me to do well. The interviewers are helpful and friendly making the interview stages easy and fun. From the interviews, you will get a real sense of Workday's culture and how important their values are to them. There are 5 stages in total each a half an hour slot. This process was very enjoyable due to the amazing recruiter, Hiring manager, and Team members.

Describe yourself? Describe your previous work experience? Why Workday? Why would you like to leave your current role? What do you know about the role? Tell me about something that is not on your CV? Tell me how you would deal with a difficult customer?

Interview
Applied online, received email about setting up a time for a phone interview. Member of the interview team was not very responsive, so I thought we had agreed on a time for a phone interview (she never replied to my suggested time), so I took the time out of my day to be available at that time and she never called.
I get another email from the same contact (second one I received) about them wanting to set up a phone interview. This time, we were able to set up a time and do the phone interview. Basic questions about the job details, my experience, with my experience lining up well with the job requirements. Indicated that she would pass my resume on to the hiring manager and that I'd either here from them or get an email that they've moved on with other candidates.
Never heard anything back. I understand this kind of thing happens, there were two issues I had with the process:
- Be a bit more professional about contacting and setting up phone interviews with candidates. They just didn't seem to have their stuff together with me getting contacted twice by the same person asking about setting up a phone interview, and then when I thought we had agreed on a time for the first phone interview, they never followed up so I wasted my time waiting for them to call.
- Do what you say you're going to do. If you say you're going to get back to me with either an indication the hiring manager is interested in moving forward, or that you've moved on with another candidate, then do that.

Interview
It's a new position. Recruiter set up a phone call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager is egotistical. He loves to talk about himself and how he launched the app store when he was at Apple. Workday is building out their own app store and needs people to support the engineers and he'll be your boss. He told me three times that he launch the app store while at Apple. Did I mention he said he launched the app store when he was at Apple? C'mon man, sweet accomplishment to put on your resume but I'm sure you were surrounded by an excellent team of people who launched the app store that you now take credit for.
