I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at World Table Tennis (Singapore) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview with World Table Tennis began half an hour late, which was a bit frustrating, but once it started, it was highly technical and rigorous. The panel covered a wide range of topics, including data architecture, software design, cloud administration (AWS/Azure), security best practices, and networking concepts. The questions were in-depth, testing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, making it clear they were looking for someone with strong technical expertise. Surprisingly, they also emphasized the need for solid table tennis knowledge—rules, scoring, and even gameplay strategies—since the role likely involves working closely with the sport's digital platforms. Balancing deep technical skills with a passion for table tennis made this one of the more unique interview experiences I’ve had.

Interview
Two rounds of interview, although I think there's not really much in the way of internal process because I was told I would have a third round of interview but I was offered very quickly after my second interview.
