      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at XCentium

      Interview

I applied for a Front‑End Developer role at Xcentium and negotiated salary with HR upfront. Here’s how the process unfolded: 1. First Screening Scheduled one week after our initial call Completed successfully; interviewer was satisfied 2. Assessment Round Scheduled another week later, finished in one day Ten days later, HR informed me they’d changed the requirement and now needed someone available in 30 days 3. Technical Interview I agreed to a 30‑day notice period and cleared the technical round within two days 4. Offer Call & Ghosting Had the offer call two days later and reiterated my salary expectations No follow‑up for ten days When I reached out, HR asked for my expectations again (which I’d already given twice), then went silent again Key Takeaways Excessively Protracted Process: Two rounds stretched over 20+ days for no clear reason Shifting Requirements: Role criteria changed mid‑process Poor Respect for Candidates: Repeated ghosting and redundant questions Cost‑Driven Mindset: Demands expert skills but seems focused on low‑cost labor Overall: A frustrating experience that undervalues your time, expertise, and professionalism.
