My interview took place last summer in 2019.
It was extremely nerve-wracking when there were an excessive amount of people interviewing me (3 people - really?). They were very cold-faced and appeared as if they wanted to see how well I dealt with pressure. The questions asked were generic and relevant to the role, however; there was no sense of affirmation when answering them. Their responses were neutral, and this can be off-putting for someone who is trying to gauge how well they complete an interview. I was also asked to sign a 'waiver' if they decided to move forward with the process, which was strange...
Halfway through the interview, there was a knock on the door. The hiring managers thought it would be polite and appropriate to allow this EXTRA PERSON in the room and basically "shadow" the panel while they interview me. It was one of the most uncomfortable interviews I had in my life. I truly wanted to just exit after that moment.
Based on their interview process, I would not consider YESS a reputable organization to work for.
Trash hiring managers = trash management.
