I had to wait for the woman I was there to see to answer the locked door. Once she came, she was very friendly. But oh, she didn't have time to interview me so I'd have to wait for someone else. I waited for almost 15 minutes in a room by myself, and finally someone came. I stood up to shake her hand, for which she was unprepared. After asking me some questions, she seemed satisfied and began walking me around the office to introduce me to my "co-workers". I had short, friendly conversations with the three people she introduced me to (their backgrounds, their children, etc.). As we were walking back to the interview room, I told her I had never known what the building was all the times I had seen it, and I'm glad that I now know what's there. All the sudden, her mood flipped. She retorted with, "Yeah well, we're here. This is what it is." We reached the interview room, she said she'd call me if I was hired, and she left abruptly. I cannot figure out what went wrong, no matter how much I think about it. Why she introduced me to people and gave me a full tour of the building if she had no plans to hire me is beyond my comprehension. I was never contacted, not even to say I was not hired.
