      Devsecops Engineer Interview

      26 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Yurts in Jan 2026

      Interview

I completed an initial recruiter screening followed by a subsequent interview, both of which I felt went well. During the recruiter screen, a significant portion of the conversation was spent on the recruiter discussing his own experience and relationships with senior leadership, as well as mentioning that he had interviewed “thousands” of candidates to build the current team. The follow-up interview also went well from my perspective, and I left feeling confident in my performance. However, at no point was there clear communication regarding next steps, timelines, or how candidate status would be tracked. After the interviews, communication stopped entirely and I was ghosted. Overall, the experience lacked organization and transparency. Clearer communication and closure for candidates would greatly improve the interview process.
