      Interview

It was a long interview process that initially required a day long project take home. Spent a lot of time and energy preparing and working for a month on the interview process all for them to find that they were redesigning the role which stayed open for months.

      Software Engineer Interview

      13 Nov 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at charity: water in Nov 2018

      Interview

It was a great experience and a fast process. I had an internal referral from a staff member. The overall structure for the interview was: Phone Screen - General Background, Culture Hangout with Engineering Manager - Technical Interview and Engineering Culture Fit Take-home Project - PR on a Coding Challenge with 1 round of Code Review. That's far as I made it, but understood the next steps, according to the outline I learned about in the phone screen, would have been a Group Interview with Team Engineers and/or an interview with an Executive Team Member. Then, a background/reference check followed by an offer stage.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      - Talk about a project you've worked on. - Talk about working with other people.
