I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at iMethods
Interview
Their recruiter cold-messaged on LinkedIn, and we talked on the phone for 45 minutes. It sounded like they had several internal steps before being submitted to the client. Certainly friendly, but not very knowledgeable on the subjects they were asking questions about.
Beware: one of those body shops that will contact you, offer non-competitive rates, yet mandate a bunch of steps to their advantage.
They even pulled the classic 3rd-party agency ploy to ask for two managerial references before even submitting to the client or seeing if you felt it was a good fit on your side. Classic contact mining for future sales prospects. I had to tell them "no thanks" several times, despite several attempts.
