      Description EP MedSystems skips no beats designing products that diagnose, monitor, and treat cardiac arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeats). Its EP-4 Stimulator is a computerized electrophysiology clinical stimulator, while the EP WorkMate monitors heart activity and stores arrhythmia data. The ViewMate ultrasound imaging console and Viewflex catheters help physicians diagnose heart conditions. EP MedSystems sells to medical institutions and doctors through a direct sales force in the US; it sells through distributors abroad. In 2008 the company was acquired by St. Jude Medical.
