      Overwhelmed by low clinic staffing, had to get out for sanity

      Pros

      Some of the people I worked with in the clinic were great, We were supportive of one another and empathetic because we knew we were all in the same boat. Our clinic was understaffed and we were stressed.

      Cons

      Understaffing in clinics - I don't think the company can afford to pay the people they have on staff more or hire new employees Care Coordinators expected to do certified Medical Assistant work Constant stress and worry we would be flagged during audits because we were so short staffed and people were doing work they were not qualified to do Low pay Very expensive benefits Corporate office leadership is disconnected Constant knee-jerk change leaves clinic feeling whiplash daily

      Supportive management, but negativity from some coworkers

      Pros

      I have a very good Practice Manager to work with, and a surgeon loves to teach and help.

      Cons

      Some employee is just too negative about almost everything, I do not think they will be happy anywhere. That bothers me.

      Pros

      Clinical staff stuck together and supported each other the best they could. Some of the people I worked were wonderful.

      Cons

      Salary and benefits are awful. Owned by private equity and because the company has done poorly there have been multiple rounds of layoffs this year and no improvements to compensation and benefits to help people that were spared stay. Clinics are bare bones in terms of staff yet they keep opening new clinics. This business demonstrates the worst of healthcare…a doctor/CEO with a huge ego only interested in profits and not employees or patients.
