Pros

People are generally nice and friendly

Cons

Culture of micromanagement, you get harrassed until you get it done, power hungry managers, essentially no staff benefits, be prepared to work until midnight minimum. Everything is manual, expect to spend hours doing the same thing 5 times then get told last minute that something different is needed. No communication, no organization, no structure, unclear KPIs and flip flopping at what they ask of you.

Poor culture, leadership detached from reality

Pros

I had a very good opportunity to learn how NOT to communicate and treat people especially in times of uncertainty.

Cons

Disastrous town-hall calls, backstabbing, power-hungry managers that were on a mission to promise and sell you just about anything. Toxic environment, toxic culture.

In a slow downfall

Pros

In previous years, the company filled an interesting gap in the market, and we got to represent the biggest brands in the advertising platforms industry on our local markets, such as Meta, Snap, X, Amazon, etc. We have privileged insight into the latest advertising solutions and features these platforms are rolling out, and receive training from them. Also, we are seen as subject matter experts by all companies in our market, as we are practically an extended sales team of the advertising giant (Meta, Snap...) that we're representing. The people I work with are really great and fun to hang out with.

Cons

Bad business decisions of top management made the company terribly over-reliant on revenue from Meta. And when Meta decided to cut their expenses, Aleph sacked more than 130 employees overnight, closing down entire offices, and putting enormous pressure on all remaining teams. Apart from that, the company doesn't have any solid systems in place, all decisions are arbitrarily made on the move, the culture is heavily sales-oriented but you're completely on your own to figure out how to bring results. Salary is generally very small, except for the management, but they keep you on a tight leash through quarterly bonuses in order to cover your basic or moderate financial needs.
