Pros

4x10 work week, 2nd shift

Cons

I work at this company and I can honestly say I can't believe the lack of respect and common decency management has for there associates. They constantly tell you that safety is priority , but constantly have you in situations that are completely unsafe and unhealthy -crazy workplace heat, aluminum dust, smoke and fire. Where is our Union rep? Here you are constantly reminded that you'll be written up and if you don't do as they say they will find someone else. I wouldn't recommend this place , there's much better out there.

Pros

-Good place to get your foot in the door for maintenance mechanic

Cons

-Lie about providing tools!! -Lie about your wages, if you counter offer they will ask to revisit your wages after 90 days and will not give you the amount you want. -Long hours, 58 hour weeks 6 days, no work life balance -Place is absolutely dirty and outdated -Takes 2-3 weeks to get hired and another 2-3 weeks to get uniforms, prepare for your personal clothes to get oily! -Machines are outdated and not properly PM so they constantly break -Understaffed, when I work there there was about 6 guys trying to maintain all the machines, and there is a ton of machines. -Management doesn't disperse work properly so a lot of people will hide if they are not told what to do. -Constantly ordering wrong parts and then being forced to make those parts work. -They like to brag that the company is on track to become employee owned, and that you can retire a millionaire. This isn't the case, the company is employee owned, but bought the company from the owners for way more than its worth. -Health Insurance is cheap, but good luck finding a provider or setting it up, most doctors cant find the insurance.

Pros

Very relaxed environment. You hardly ever get yelled at. Rarely work overtime and even more rarely work weekends. They do like you to work weekends before or after holidays because they don't have to pay you overtime then (holiday hours don't count towards working hours).

Cons

You rarely get yelled at because they're all about "one APP" which was a cultural change they tried to initiate but inevitably failed. Pretty unorganized and changes take months to years to implement that could take as few as a couple days. You can only contribute to your 401k and get health benefits after 6 months. You can't take any vacation for a year and the 3 sick days you get a year never roll over so everyone uses them by the end of the year.
