New senior management is cultivating a toxic work environment.
Pros
Ambrell employs many incredibly bright, hardworking people, several of whom have been with Ambrell for 20 years or more. Until very recently, this was the best work environment I had ever been a part of.
Cons
The new senior management has made a priority of shifting the work culture away from the family-style, "mom and pop" team-oriented atmosphere that had been built over several decades. Sales continue to decline, profit sharing has dissapeared, employee turn-over has increased and moral is terrible in all departments. While overtime has been prohibited for hourly employees and perks are being eliminated company wide, there seems to be no shortage of money and resources to create several new executive positions for the new CEO's old friends. The current CEO has started several companies and sold them. That may be the exact skill set he was hired for by the private equity firm that Ambrell was recently purchased by.
