The Forced Return to Office was the downfall

Pros

During my tenure at Andersen, I found satisfaction during the period of complete remote work. However, the transition to a Return to Office (RTO) model marked a downturn in my experience, with three days spent in a lackluster office environment devoid of nearby amenities. For those comfortable with a hybrid arrangement, Andersen offers commendable training prospects. Moreover, they provide ample room for personal and professional growth within designated roles.

Cons

Word on the grapevine suggests that there are revisions underway for their PTO policy, Purportedly geared more towards the benefit of Andersen rather than individual employees. Reports indicate meager salary increases and even delays in their disbursement.

Pros

Fast paced, demanding and high growth expectations. Training opportunities and innovation can happen, just need patients.

Cons

Lack of recognizing people in the process of profit, often overload priorities on team with short staffing - this is not uncommon, just noticeable when directly affected

Good place to expand knowledge

Pros

Great learning and training culture, especially for early career; Great opportunities to learn functions outside of your original role; Great transparency with the new leadership from site level up through executive leaders

Cons

Very little room for promotion growth without relocation; Office politics used to be really bad, but have improved a lot with the site leader change several months ago; Strong business outlook with transparent and timely communication from executive leaders down through plant manager; Good morale building opportunities for some groups; Lots of opportunity to thrive with certain initiatives or project work

Pros

- Flexible work hours depending on the team. - Standard benefits package. - A few dedicated coworkers who try to make the best of a dysfunctional system.

Cons

- Frequent leadership changes with little continuity or knowledge transfer, leaving teams without clear guidance. - Internal hiring practices sometimes prioritize personal connections over qualifications, which can affect fairness and team dynamics. - Limited onboarding and training resources. Employees are expected to operate across multiple systems and technologies without adequate support. - Strategic goals are vague and often undefined, making it difficult to align efforts or measure success. - Projects are assigned without clear direction, while teams are often stretched beyond capacity. - When issues arise, accountability is rarely shared — employees may be blamed for delays or problems outside their control. - After departure, follow-up on basic benefits information can be slow or inconsistent, and exit processes lack transparency.
