Treated worse than mud

Pros

They say you'll be treated like family - that's true in that all the management team ARE family, but everyone else is either looked down upon or ignored. And the trouble with hiring "family" is that they are all grossly incompetent, that they can't manage, communicate or lead.

Cons

Minimal wage, minimal holiday entitlement, minimal pension contribution, minimal benefits, minimal breaks, no training and no flexibility. You are also expected to work in the office through the global pandemic because they want to monitor you at all times, there is no trust. This is the equivalent of a Victorian warehouse in the modern age, compelled to offer you the minimum by law.

Pros

None whatsoever, I wish I had something good to say.

Cons

Lack of trust with the staff to get the job done. Lack of any respect for the people that work at Grove. Long hours, no reward and high stress levels are the norm here. Unethical treatment of staff who disagree with management could lead to you losing your job.

Pros

Unfortunately none I could think of

Cons

- Treatment from day one was extremely poor, you don't feel welcome at all - Trying to run a 5* property with a 4* budget is not manageable - Clear favoritism - Indians in management positions and constant promotions - due to Mr Arora's heritage - Discrimination against foreigners, e.g. accents by Head Office - Minimum wages for 5 star hotel?! - No desirable benefits, not competitive at all - No appreciation nor recognition - Way too many redundancies, clear lack of understanding on how to run a business in a sustainable and professional way (I personally did not go through this but saw plenty of this happening) - Extremely understaffed, unprofessional staff and extreme lack of training opportunities - Overtime hours unpaid/ no lieu days
