We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with us! Thank you for your feedback and for bringing up a great point here. Our business model is easily confused with that of a pyramid scheme (which is illegal in the United States). However, a pyramid scheme requires an initial payment from any new member, and that is something that we have never, nor will ever, ask of ANY employee. Second, we are partnered with Fortune 500 clients, and with pyramid schemes being illegal, none of these companies would ever partner with a company who conducts business in that way, as that would tarnish their reputation. Before making false claims, we prefer that you either educate yourself, or come to the Management Team for education. We have an open door policy here, and are very transparent. No "promises" are ever given, our business is opportunity-based, and that growth stems solely from the effort of an employee. We are very team-oriented, and focus on team development. We foster a sports-like environment here, and that is why our business is not made for people who are solely focused on individual goals. We hope that this has been informative for you and wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Scam... beware any positive comments

Pros

There are no pros to this job whatsoever

Cons

Pyramid scheme is the right way to describe it, just as others have said. One person said it is well hidden when it really isn't, as it took me just a few days to realize what this company was all about. Should have realized something was fishy from the interview which involved him interviewing five people at once lol. Just a total con man. Also, watch out for any positive comments as they have asked employees to write them to bump up the average. In fact, you can even look at the dates of the positive reviews and see that there are a bunch that are written the very next day after a negative review gets listed on here! This is the type of fake and toxic culture that is promoted at Ascension. It is truly is a terrible company and people are constantly coming in and out. Do yourself a favor and run! I'm glad the first review marking this as a scam has been so positively received and been marked helpful so many more times than any of the positive reviews, to hopefully save other prospective applicants from this grotesque company!

We're sorry to hear about your negative experience. We appreciate the points, which you have brought up but would like to clarify that we are not a scam or a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes require an initial payment from any new member, and that is not something that we would ever ask of our employees. None of our partners would ever associate themselves with a pyramid scheme as it would tarnish their reputation. Our management team would be more than happy to provide information on this subject. We have an open-door policy here and are very transparent. Our business is opportunity-based, so we never make any promises about an employee's trajectory. To address your comments about the validity of our online reviews, we do not generate or fabricate any reviews. At Ascension Management Inc. your growth stems solely from your level of effort. We are very team-oriented and focus on the development of our employees. We foster a sports-like environment here. Everyone is a team player, which is why our business is not made for people who are solely focused on individual goals. We hope that this has been informative for you and wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Pyramid scheme

Pros

There are no pros to this company, unfortunately.

Cons

This is a direct marketing firm, in other words, its door to door, but they would never say its door to door. Commission based pay, they always skim off part of your pay, and give it to your 'leader'. Over work employees, they over work their employees, and bait them by making them remember their 'why'. They convince you that this is the best type job in America, they may be right, but I'd rather be unemployed than work for them. Very unprofessional workplace, there are no desks or chairs for people to sit, you stay standing for like 4+ hours in the morning to go door to door for the rest of the day. This brings me to my next point, my responsibility as a leader is also to hire people onto my team. We could not retain anyone because we do not disclose all the info in our first or second round interview to not "scare people off". There is so much wrong about this company, and I am genuinely not bothered to put all on paper, but if I did, I'd stay typing for hours.

We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience but want to clarify that we are not only door-to-door. This is discussed throughout the interview process so all candidates know exactly what they are getting into. We offer multiple compensation packages that are all structured so that each one of our team members has a base salary or hourly pay in addition to bonuses and incentives. All pay is fairly distributed to our employees. We do not skim off any portion of their pay and give it to a leader. Our company is committed to fair and ethical business practices. We do not overwork our employees. Our work hours are on average 40-45 hours a week, however, we always offer more hours if you choose to do so. We take pride in our workplace and maintain a professional atmosphere. In regards to our hiring process, we are very upfront about the position requirements during the interview process to avoid any misunderstanding. We value the feedback of all of our employees and are always open to hearing suggestions for improvement. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, feel free to contact us at info@ascensionmanagementinc.com.
